MonitorUltra is designed with privacy as a core principle. We collect minimal data necessary to provide our baby monitoring service, and we never sell your personal information.

Information We Collect

When you use MonitorUltra, we collect:

• Account Information: Anonymous authentication data to enable device pairing and secure connections.
• Device Information: Device name and battery status for display on the parent unit.
• Sound Events: Timestamps and types of detected sounds to show monitoring history.
• Channel Data: Pairing codes and connection status to enable real-time communication between devices.

Audio Data

Audio is streamed in real-time between paired devices and is not recorded or stored on our servers. Audio transmission uses end-to-end encrypted channels provided by Agora.io.

How We Use Your Information

• Enable real-time audio streaming between baby and parent units
• Send notifications when sounds are detected
• Display monitoring status and history
• Improve app performance and reliability

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services. Sound event history is retained for 30 days and then automatically deleted.

Third-Party Services

MonitorUltra uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase: Authentication, database, and cloud functions
• Agora.io: Real-time audio streaming
• Apple Push Notification Service: Alert notifications

Your Rights

You can:

• Delete your account and all associated data at any time
• Request a copy of your data
• Opt out of analytics (coming soon)

Children's Privacy

MonitorUltra is designed for parents to monitor their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
